Naver Cloud Provides Generative AI Platform to Bank of Korea... Prevents Data Leakage
Generative AI Training Within a Closed Network
Improving Productivity for Bank of Korea Employees
Advancing Toward an 'AI Agent' Role in the Future
Naver Cloud announced on the 28th that it has signed a contract to provide the Bank of Korea with a dedicated generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform based on its 'NeuroCloud for HyperClovaX' (hereinafter NeuroCloud).
The two organizations plan to start the service in October by training the HyperClovaX model with data owned by the Bank of Korea to build a financial and economic specialized generative AI model.
NeuroCloud is a service that installs cloud infrastructure directly within the customer's data center, allowing generative AI to be trained only within a closed network, fundamentally preventing data leakage outside.
The two parties plan to develop financial and economic specialized models to build professional tools for various economic issues, starting from basic functions such as document search and summarization, translation, and Q&A chatbots to improve the work productivity of Bank of Korea employees.
In the future, they will continuously advance the functions so that AI can serve as an 'AI agent' for each employee.
Through this, they also plan to explore and provide joint public services in the long term by linking HyperClovaX with the Bank of Korea’s data for search, summarization, and recommendation.
