Saewool Nuclear Power Provides Full Support for Uljoo Wildfire Damage
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head: So Youseop) visited the site of the fire in Unhwa-ri, Onyang-eup on the 24th to assess the damage and established an immediate cooperation system through discussions with on-site officials.
Immediately after entering emergency mode, Saeul Headquarters worked with Namulju Fire Station to dispatch its own fire brigade and fire truck. The in-house fire brigade responded swiftly, successfully extinguishing the initial wildfire in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, and focused on preventing further spread.
Additionally, on the 25th and 27th, they visited the fire site twice to deliver emergency relief supplies worth about 20 million KRW (including ramen, coffee, hamburgers, etc.) to the firefighting teams and local residents affected by the disaster.
Head So Youseop stated, "We will spare no effort to support the swift recovery and stability of local residents who suffered significant damage from the wildfire," adding, "We will do our utmost to maintain a close cooperative system with the local community and ensure prompt response in the event of disasters."
