Home&Shopping Leads Expansion of K-Food Exports Overseas
Accelerating Entry into the U.S. Market Next Month
Home&Shopping announced on the 27th that it is supporting the global market entry of K-Food and accelerating the overseas market expansion of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This year, Home&Shopping has discovered products from SMEs facing export difficulties and focused on exporting K-Food and K-Beauty, achieving a cumulative export amount of 1.4 million dollars by March.
The Home&Shopping SME Support Headquarters is helping excellent domestic SMEs enter the U.S. market by utilizing various distribution channels. In particular, they exported Kyungshin Bio’s ‘Kkotsong-i Mushroom Enzyme,’ which recently gained attention after being introduced by actress Han Ga-in on YouTube, to the U.S. and other regions through the shopping platform ‘Bringko,’ which has 8 million overseas members. Additionally, they secured offline distribution buyers in the western U.S. region and are actively supporting SMEs that have marketable products but face export difficulties by exporting seafood products from Gangwon-do.
Along with this, Home&Shopping plans to operate the ‘Home&Shopping Corporate Pavilion’ at the Atlanta World Korean Business Conference held in April, supporting the participation of about 20 SMEs. Through this, they will provide not only one-on-one buyer matching but also online and offline local buyer consultation programs to more actively assist K-Food companies in entering the U.S. market.
