The donation ceremony was attended by executive members including Jang Wonho, president of the 5th cohort, Kim Sunghee, head of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Group and head professor, Jung Seokchan, director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Han Suhwan, university president, and Kim Chiyong, director of External Cooperation.

Dong-Eui University has been operating the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, which receives approximately 18 billion KRW in support over eight years since 2020 through the Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project supervised by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation. Since the 2020 academic year, the graduate school has also established an artificial intelligence program for working professionals, producing 71 master's and 2 doctoral graduates to date, thereby fostering AI experts for key regional industries.
