Dong-Eui University Graduate School Artificial Intelligence Department 5th Class Donates 10 Million Won to University Development Fund

The 5th cohort of the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence at Dong-Eui University (Head Professor: Kim Sunghee) donated 10 million KRW as a university development fund during a donation ceremony held at the president's office in the university's main building on the 25th.

View original imageSince 2021, the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence has been donating 10 million KRW annually as a development fund, with seniors supporting the growth of the department and encouraging their juniors' academic pursuits.
The donation ceremony was attended by executive members including Jang Wonho, president of the 5th cohort, Kim Sunghee, head of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Group and head professor, Jung Seokchan, director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Han Suhwan, university president, and Kim Chiyong, director of External Cooperation.
President Jang Wonho stated, "We would like to express our gratitude for the high-quality classes provided by the university and the graduate school," and added, "We hope that our juniors will continue to grow on this excellent educational foundation and lead the development of the regional artificial intelligence industry ecosystem."
Dong-Eui University has been operating the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, which receives approximately 18 billion KRW in support over eight years since 2020 through the Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project supervised by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation. Since the 2020 academic year, the graduate school has also established an artificial intelligence program for working professionals, producing 71 master's and 2 doctoral graduates to date, thereby fostering AI experts for key regional industries.
