Ulsan Office of Education Launches Special Inspection Team for Corruption-Prone Areas
Supporting On-Site Inspections for Facility Construction and School Sports Team Operations
Establishing a Dedicated Corruption Impact Assessment Task Force to Block Potential Corruption
Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsoo) is aiming to achieve the highest level of integrity this year by operating a 'Special Inspection Team for Corruption-Prone Areas' and a 'Corruption Impact Assessment Task Force' to prevent corruption and improve systems.
The 'Special Inspection Team for Corruption-Prone Areas', led by Superintendent Cheon Changsoo, consists of seven team leaders and staff members in charge of major departments vulnerable to corruption. They plan to develop improvement measures and support on-site inspections in areas such as Neulbom (after-school) school operations, facility construction, contract management, school sports team management, meal service operations, and field trips.
The 'Corruption Impact Assessment Task Force' is composed of three staff members and team leaders from departments related to Neulbom (after-school) school and school sports team operations. They will closely analyze ordinances, regulations, and guidelines to preemptively block factors that could cause corruption, and when problems are found, they will quickly reorganize and establish practical improvement measures to be applied on site.
On the 25th, Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education held its first consultative meeting to review the progress of integrity implementation tasks in each department and discuss system improvement tasks. In order to build a more transparent administrative system, they also reviewed factors in guidelines and operational methods that could cause corruption.
Through the operation of the special inspection team and the task force, Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to preemptively block the possibility of corruption and create an educational environment that students, parents, and faculty can trust by improving integrity in the education sector.
