The University Job Plus Center at Seoul National University of Science and Technology announced on the 28th that it successfully concluded the 'Special Lecture and Career Consulting on the Plant, Steel, and Shipbuilding Industries.'

The event was co-hosted by the Korea Plant Industry Association, Korea Iron and Steel Association, and Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Plant Association, and was held on the 21st at the International Hall Conference Room on campus.
The first part of the event began with a greeting from Professor Hwang Byung-cheol of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at SeoulTech (a board member of the Korea Iron and Steel Association), followed by special lectures introducing and forecasting the plant, steel, and shipbuilding industries by Deputy General Manager Noh Kyung-moon of the Plant Industry Association, Director Wang Chan-hoon of the Steel Association, and Manager Lee Won-yang of the Shipbuilding & Offshore Plant Association.
In the second part, HR representatives and engineers from leading companies in the plant, steel, and shipbuilding sectors such as POSCO, Korea Electric Power Corporation, DL E&C, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore, HD Hyundai Mipo, HD Hyundai Samho, and Hanwha Ocean served as group mentors, providing students with information on technological trends and key issues.
