National Library of Korea and Hungarian National Archives Sign MOU for 'Digital Resource Sharing' Collaboration
Agreement Reached on Surveying and Digitizing Knowledge Resources for Shared Access
The National Library of Korea announced on the 25th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Hungarian National Archives focusing on the mutual exchange of knowledge resources.

View original imageThe Hungarian National Archives is the oldest archival institution in Europe and holds various Korea-related materials, including records of the activities of the Hungarian medical team during the Korean War. The National Library of Korea has continuously engaged in exchanges such as participating in international academic conferences jointly hosted by the Hungarian National Archives and the Association for Korean Studies in Central and Eastern Europe.
Through the signing of the MOU, both institutions agreed to collaborate on ▲surveying, digitizing, and sharing knowledge resources ▲exchanging information on the preservation, restoration, and utilization of knowledge resources ▲developing and participating in joint projects and programs ▲exchanging staff and experts ▲and developing and promoting other possible areas of mutual exchange and cooperation.
