Ulsan City and Related Agencies Join Forces for On-Site Corporate Investment Support
Checking Progress of Investment Companies and Sharing Agency Support Achievements
On the 25th at 3:00 PM, Ulsan City will launch the "Business On-Site Support Related Agencies Council" and hold its first meeting in the Situation Room on the 7th floor of City Hall’s main building to strengthen on-site support for local corporate investment projects.
The newly launched "Business On-Site Support Related Agencies Council" will include Ulsan City, Ulsan Urban Corporation, Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency, Ulsan Regional Headquarters of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, Ulsan Regional Headquarters of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Ulsan Headquarters of Korea Gas Safety Corporation, Ulsan Branch of Korea Electric Power Corporation, Ulsan Branch of Korea Water Resources Corporation, Ulsan Branch of Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, Ulsan Branch of Korea Asset Management Corporation, and Ulsan Office of Korea Fire Institute. A total of 10 agencies will participate.
The meeting, presided over by Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Ahn Hyodae, will be attended by the heads of these 10 agencies to discuss the council’s operational direction and cooperation plans.
In particular, the council aims to identify the difficulties and regulatory improvement needs faced by local investment companies, develop practical and prompt solutions, and provide customized support by strengthening collaboration among related agencies.
Examples and achievements of on-site corporate support by each agency will also be shared.
Various support cases will be introduced, such as: prompt consultation and review of traffic safety facilities for new factories by the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency; approval for the use of shared distribution networks for hydrogen fuel cell power generation projects by the Ulsan Branch of Korea Electric Power Corporation; and support for industrial water consultations for Mipo and Onsan industrial complexes by the Ulsan Branch of Korea Water Resources Corporation.
The council also plans to operate by mutually sharing the roles and proactive administrative support cases of related agencies so that companies can receive tangible benefits.
Ahn Hyodae, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs, stated, "Through the launch of this council, we will spare no administrative support so that local investment companies can grow more stably and continue to invest," and added, "Through close cooperation with related agencies, we will actively reflect the voices from the business field and develop practical support measures."

Going forward, the "Business On-Site Support Related Agencies Council" plans to regularly hold working-level meetings to develop effective, field-oriented support measures and provide continuous support.
