Changwon Special City Invites You to the Jinhae Gunhangje Fireworks Show on April 2
Held on the Waters in Front of Jinhaeru
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 24th that the "Yi Chungmugong Victory Commemoration Maritime Fireworks Show," one of the most popular programs of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, will be held on April 2 at 8:10 PM on the waters in front of Jinhaeru.
The fireworks show, held annually during the festival period, features not only fireworks but also a variety of pre-show performances. This year, the Navy Education Command Gugak Band, the Beotsori Choir, and singer Shin Inseon will perform as part of the pre-show program.
With such a diverse lineup, the "Yi Chungmugong Victory Commemoration Maritime Fireworks Show" has remained a perennial favorite throughout the decades-long history of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival. Many people over the age of 50 still associate the festival with the fireworks show.
Lee Seongmin, Director of Culture, Tourism, and Sports, said, "Jinhae Gunhangje is a comprehensive cultural festival that offers a wealth of sights and experiences across land, sky, and sea. We hope many people will visit Jinhae and create wonderful memories."
Meanwhile, Changwon Special City has prepared an additional 600 parking spaces inside the Navy Education Command near Jinhaeru to accommodate the large number of tourists expected for the fireworks show.
