World Water Day is observed every year on March 22, as designated by the United Nations (UN), to raise global awareness about water shortages and water pollution issues.
During this campaign, the corporation distributed commemorative tooth-brushing cups for World Water Day to citizens visiting Yeomju Sports Complex, promoting the importance of saving water. They emphasized that brushing your teeth for 30 seconds with the water running uses about 6 liters of water, but using a cup can save up to 5 liters. The message conveyed was that even small actions in daily life can contribute to water conservation.
Kim Seungnam, president of the corporation, said, "I hope this water-saving campaign serves as an opportunity for many people to once again realize the value of water," and added, "As a public institution, we will continue to take the lead in fulfilling our social responsibilities in various fields."
