View original imageRIST is an industry-related practical technology research institute established by POSCO, conducting research and practical applications in various fields such as steel, new materials, environment, energy, smart safety, and analysis and evaluation, applying them on-site. Through this MOU, both parties plan to exchange technologies related to smart safety and seek ways to improve on-site safety management efficiency.
SK Chemicals will provide RIST with know-how on the 'Generative AI-based Safety Management System,' which was first established domestically last year and applied on-site. RIST will share technologies in the industrial safety field, including ▲ the digital twin-based smart safety platform RISTwin ▲ worker exposure risk monitoring and system construction solutions. The generative AI-based safety management system is a system where SK Chemicals has digitized safety management documents, know-how, and cases accumulated while operating the Ulsan plant, and the AI suggests potential risk factors that may occur during work execution.
