Sangmyung University Opens Dedicated Space for Interdisciplinary Studies Students
Co-working Space Opens on the First Floor of Cheongrok Haksa
Sangmyung University announced on the 19th that it has opened a dedicated co-working space for students of the Division of Liberal Arts on the first floor of Cheongrok Haksa at the Cheonan Campus.
The co-working space was established to enhance students' capabilities, facilitate interaction, and support independent activities. It consists of independent workspaces, team project areas, relaxation zones, and a support center.
Sangmyung University plans to support Division of Liberal Arts students in exploring majors during the first four weeks after admission, followed by a major fair and counseling sessions, and then have them complete experiential courses.
An Beomjun, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Cheonan Campus, stated, "We will do our best to provide stable campus life and systematic major selection for Division of Liberal Arts students," adding, "If there are any difficulties in campus life, please feel free to visit the vice president's office at any time."
Meanwhile, Division of Liberal Arts students can choose any major except for AR/VR Media Design, AI Media Content, Nursing, Green Smart City, and AI Mobility Engineering.
