Pocheon City to Reduce Water and Sewage Fees by 50% for 3 Months for Residents Affected by Fighter Jet Friendly Fire
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 19th that it will reduce water and sewage fees by 50% for three months for residents affected in Idong-myeon following the declaration of a special disaster area.
This measure was prepared to help stabilize the lives of residents affected in Idong-myeon, which was designated as a special disaster area due to the Air Force fighter jet bombing accident that caused human and material damage.
The reduction applies to water and sewage users in Idong-myeon who have completed damage registration in the National Disaster Management System (NDMS) due to the social disaster. Fifty percent of the usage fees for three months, excluding the basic fees according to the water meter size, will be reduced.
Once the damage registration is completed, the reduction details will be automatically reflected on the bill without any separate application process.
