Yangju-si, Recruiting Households for the 'Disabled Housing Renovation Project'
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 18th that it is recruiting households eligible for the 'Housing Renovation Project for the Disabled' until April 4th to improve the living environment and enhance mobility convenience for low-income disabled individuals.
This year's project budget is 15.2 million KRW, and customized housing renovations will be supported for a total of four households.
Selected households will receive improvements tailored to their individual living environments and needs, such as threshold removal, bathroom renovation, installation of auxiliary handrails, and ramps, with support available up to 3.8 million KRW per household.
Applicants must be registered disabled residents within the jurisdiction whose income is below the previous year's average monthly income of urban worker households.
However, those who have received similar housing renovation support from the national or local government within the past three years are excluded from eligibility.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare centers in each town, township, or neighborhood of the applicant's address.
