Homeplus Requests Extension
Cites Ongoing Changes in List of Creditors
The Seoul Rehabilitation Court has extended the deadline for Homeplus, which has entered corporate rehabilitation proceedings, to submit its list of creditors.
The Rehabilitation Division 4 of the Seoul Rehabilitation Court (Chief Judge Jeong Jun-young) announced this decision on the 18th.
Homeplus applied for an extension of the deadline to submit the list of creditors to the court the day before, stating, "There are numerous rehabilitation creditors, and an early repayment process for trade creditors is underway, causing continuous changes in the list of rehabilitation creditors, so additional time is needed to prepare the list of creditors."
With the court accepting the request, the deadline for submitting the list of creditors, which was until today, has been extended to April 10. The period for filing claims was also until next month 1, but has been set to April 24.
The investigation period for claims is until May 8, and the investigation report must be submitted by Samil Accounting Corporation by the 22nd of the same month. The deadline for submitting the rehabilitation plan is June 12.
