Gijang County in Busan to Launch Remodeling Project for First Community Childcare Sharing Center in the Area
Remodeling Throughout March
Scheduled to Open in May
Gijang-gun, Busan is carrying out remodeling work to establish the region's first Community Childcare Sharing Center.
This project is being promoted after being selected for the Community Childcare Sharing Center Installation Support Project, a partnership between the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and Shinhan Financial Group.
The county will receive support from Shinhan Financial Group, including approximately 84 million KRW worth of space remodeling costs and equipment.
The Community Childcare Sharing Center will be set up in an unused space within the residents' community facility of an apartment complex located in Gijang-eup. After a month of remodeling and operational preparations in March, it is scheduled to open in May.
The Community Childcare Sharing Center will serve as a space where parents and guardians can gather to share childcare information and strengthen family and community functions through joint childcare activities. The facility will provide: ▲ a safe space for child care ▲ programs for parents, guardians, and children to participate together ▲ development of various play programs tailored to children's growth and developmental stages ▲ educational toys and materials to promote play activities.
