View original imageOn this day, the nationwide morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -3 to 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 3 to 9 degrees Celsius. In Seoul, the morning low will drop to 0 degrees Celsius.
Strong snow is expected for the second day in the Gangwon mountain areas and the East Coast. The expected snowfall amounts are 10 to 30 cm (with some places exceeding 40 cm) in Gangwon East Coast and mountains, 10 to 20 cm in the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, northern East Coast, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and 5 to 15 cm in inland Gangwon. In the Seoul metropolitan area, some places will see more than 15 cm of snow.
In areas experiencing rain or snow, there may be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning, and hail may fall, so caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.
