The Joguk Innovation Party has begun the 'Relay 10,000 Bows' at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, calling for the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol. The event is conducted in teams of three, with each person aiming to perform 1,000 bows.

View original imageOn the 17th, Kim Seon-min, Acting Leader of the Joguk Innovation Party, stated, "We plan to start the relay 10,000 bows to urge the impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol," adding, "Each person aims to perform 1,000 bows, proceeding in teams of three."
The first relay participants include Acting Leader Kim, Seo Sang-beom, candidate for the Guro District Office by-election, and Cha Gyu-geun, a member of the Joguk Innovation Party. They began the relay 10,000 bows from 3 p.m. that day.
The relay 10,000 bows will continue with each team member nominating the next participant.
The Joguk Innovation Party stated, "Any citizen who wishes for the impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol can participate," and urged active participation from party members and citizens.
Previously, from the 13th for two days, the Innovation Party marched approximately 1.6 km from the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin in Gwanghwamun to the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, performing the 'Sambo-ilbae'?taking three steps and then bowing once. However, concerns were raised inside and outside the party that this might cause inconvenience to pedestrians during the process.

An Innovation Party official explained, "To minimize inconvenience to citizens, instead of continuing the Sambo-ilbae walking march, we decided to hold the relay 10,000 bows at the relatively spacious Gwanghwamun Square, performing bows in one location."
