Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is operating a ‘Certified Realtor MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Based Matching System’ to enable residents to use real estate brokerage services that suit their personality types.
In the era of personalized services, personality data such as MBTI is gaining attention as useful ‘soft data.’ According to a survey conducted last year at the Cheongchundaero Festival targeting about 250 visitors to the Jeonse and Monthly Rent Safety Counseling Center, 70% of respondents said that having MBTI information of certified realtors would be helpful in brokerage consultations. Realtors in the district also showed positive responses during a business meeting held with the Gwangjin-gu branch of the Korea Association of Certified Realtors.
Reflecting the preference to communicate and build trust between brokerage offices and clients using the familiar tool MBTI, the district established a customized brokerage service system. A total of 89 brokerage offices agreed to disclose office names, contact information, and personality test results, participating in the matching service. By accessing the Urban Life Map on Smart Seoul Map and searching for ‘Gwangjin-gu,’ users can find certified realtor offices providing customized information and easily make consultation reservations.
Subsequently, the system will be integrated into the unified map service on the Gwangjin-gu Office website, with plans to gradually expand participating real estate brokerage offices. Brokerage offices wishing to participate can contact the Real Estate Information Division of Gwangjin-gu Office.
The district plans to conduct focused promotions mainly in areas with a high proportion of young people, such as those near Konkuk University and Sejong University, and will carry out continuous monitoring.
