Polaris Office Achieves KRW 276.3 Billion in Consolidated Sales Last Year... Record High Sales for Two Consecutive Years
Polaris Office announced on the 17th that its consolidated sales last year reached 276.3 billion KRW, a 156% increase compared to the previous year.
Starting from the second quarter of last year, the inclusion of Polaris AI and Polaris AI Pharma in the consolidated financial statements led to significant external growth, resulting in a substantial increase in performance.
With the incorporation of these two companies with sound financial structures, total assets increased by 64% from the end of last year to 519.8 billion KRW, and total equity rose by 69% to 434.1 billion KRW, maintaining a solid financial structure.
Meanwhile, operating profit decreased by 23% year-on-year due to one-time costs arising from the reorganization of business units and changes in management following the acquisition of subsidiaries. However, Polaris Office has established an opportunity to strengthen the company's long-term vision by presenting a vertical artificial intelligence (AI) business direction through diverse industrial affiliates centered on Polaris Office.
Currently, Polaris Office is promoting a ‘Vertical AI’ strategy that applies AI across industries through its diverse industrial affiliates such as Polaris Sewon, Polaris Uno, Polaris AI, and Polaris AI Pharma, aiming for mutual growth within the group.
The core business of Polaris Office is also continuously growing. On a separate basis, operating profit increased by 44% year-on-year to 3.2 billion KRW.
With the enhancement of AI features in the B2C subscription solution 'Polaris Office Cloud,' ARPPU (average revenue per paying user) has risen, driving growth in sales and operating profit. Additionally, profitability improvements were pursued in the B2B business and collaboration solutions sectors.
Furthermore, Polaris Office plans to accelerate the expansion of paid subscribers and the North American market by strengthening AI features in its B2C solutions, following its receipt of the AI Innovation Award at CES 2025, the world's largest information and communication technology convergence exhibition, held last January.
A Polaris Office representative said, “Recently, AI features loved by consumers such as Perplexity, Clova Note, and DeepL have received positive responses,” adding, “The ability to use various AI functions at reasonable prices allows us to expand paid subscribers and global users, marking an important milestone for Polaris Office to leap forward as a global company.”
They continued, “As companies adopt AI and digital transformation to improve work productivity, we expect growth in the B2B and collaboration solutions business sectors as well.”
