View original imageThe Namyangju Branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association held a ‘Senior Center Leisure Program Instructors Meeting’ on February 27 at the REMEMBER1910 Media Hall to share the program’s operational direction and discuss cooperation measures for efficient implementation.
This program was prepared to provide opportunities for improving the physical and mental health of seniors and alleviating social isolation through the formation of social networks.
The program consists of various fields including △Kiosk Education △Therapy Tai Chi (Healing Taijiquan) △Yoga △Gymnastics △Art △Singing △Rhythmic Movement △Color Therapy, with 17 instructors specialized in each field participating to provide customized education.
Namyangju City plans to offer diverse education reflecting the needs of seniors, transforming senior centers from simple resting places into ‘vibrant happiness power plants.’
