On the afternoon of the 13th, Chungnam Province held an orientation and business agreement ceremony for the "2025 Support Project for Strengthening Linkages between Agriculture and Businesses" at the Chungnam Startup Maru Nabi in Cheonan.
At the agreement ceremony, about 30 participants?including representatives from 16 agricultural organizations and companies selected for the support project, provincial officials, and staff from the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation?discussed the project, exchanged signed agreements, received training, and explored efficient ways to implement the project.
The support project to strengthen linkages between agriculture and businesses is an initiative actively promoted by the province to encourage local companies to use domestic raw materials and to transfer business experience and technology from companies to the agricultural sector, fostering win-win cooperation between food companies and farmers.
Going forward, the province plans to actively support the production, use, and linkage activities of agricultural products for processing between producer organizations and food companies.
Lee Hyukse, head of the Provincial Rural Restructuring Division, said, "Contract farming is a win-win strategy that provides companies with a stable supply of agricultural products and farmers with secure sales channels," adding, "We will support the discovery and development of a Chungnam-style contract farming win-win model so that local farmers and businesses can grow together."
