Gyeonggi-do Launches Social Innovation Platform on the 13th
Gyeonggi Province has launched a social innovation platform.
On the 13th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it held an on-site meeting for the ‘Gyeonggi Province Social Innovation Platform’ at the Gyeonggi Baby Boomer Light Job Center of the Suwon Gwanggyo Next-Generation Convergence Technology Institute.
The social innovation platform is a ‘resident participation policy promotion model’ designed to creatively and innovatively solve various social issues such as climate and environmental changes, demographic shifts, care problems, and regional revitalization.
When residents, social economy organizations, and companies wishing to cooperate on ESG propose social innovation ideas, Gyeonggi Province develops them into policies and projects, and evaluates social outcomes such as social value based on the results.
