Uri Asset Management Launches 'Miguk Buja Ttarahagi EMP'
Woori Asset Management has launched an EMP fund that combines the investment portfolios of American billionaires with domestic bond ETFs.
On the 13th, Woori Asset Management announced the launch of the ‘Woori US Billionaires Following EMP’ fund. The fund invests in the top 50 companies held by American billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jensen Huang, and Warren Buffett, providing a mid- to long-term investment strategy based on growth potential.
The benchmark, the ‘Bloomberg US Billionaires Index,’ offers sophisticated and reliable information based on real-time market value and extensive financial data. It includes companies leading future industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and eco-friendly sectors, enabling investments aligned with economic trends.
At the same time, considering the volatility of the global stock market, an asset allocation strategy using domestic bonds was added. Approximately 60% of the assets are invested in domestic bond ETFs to pursue stable interest income and capital gains.
Woori Asset Management explained that by replicating the investment strategies of billionaires while structuring the product as a bond-mixed type, the fund simultaneously pursues growth and stability, and compared to typical overseas equity funds, it offers relatively easier fund management due to a faster redemption cycle.
Choi Hong-seok, Head of ETF Management, said, "This product allows investors to catch two rabbits at once through cross-matching US stock ETFs and domestic bond ETFs," and added, "Efficient asset allocation is possible based on a proven investment strategy."
