In response, Gangbuk-gu has prepared customized cleaning measures considering the characteristics of the area and launched this project to actively resolve residents' inconveniences.
The Gangbuk-gu 365 Cleanliness Task Force is composed of two-person teams and operates intensively during the night and weekends, which are the off-duty hours for environmental officers. On weekdays, they patrol intensively from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., focusing on side streets and alleys in commercial facility-dense areas within the district.
They will perform practical environmental management tasks such as roadside cleaning, monitoring illegal dumping areas, and inspecting odor-generating locations, providing meticulous cleaning services that meet the expectations of residents and merchants.
Gangbuk-gu expects that this measure will greatly improve the cleanliness around Mia Sageori Station and contribute to the development of the area.
