The Gyeonggi Headquarters of the National Sovereignty National Assembly held a representatives' meeting on the 12th and officially began its activities.
The Gyeonggi Headquarters of the National Sovereignty National Assembly announced that it held the launching ceremony on this day to carry out various activities aimed at realizing sovereignty-centered democracy in the Gyeonggi region, in line with nationwide activities such as the recent launch of the Jeonbuk Headquarters and the National Assembly departure ceremony.
The Gyeonggi Headquarters will first conduct nationwide campaigns and educational activities to protect democracy in order to eradicate pro-insurrection forces and complete the Light Revolution centered on the sovereign people. It will also propose policies to revitalize local autonomy and greatly expand citizen participation to strengthen decentralization and realize a citizen-participatory political system. Furthermore, it will carry out activities to protect socially vulnerable groups and resolve inequality to realize open democracy and build a country where people live together harmoniously.
At the meeting on this day, the Gyeonggi Headquarters elected former Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member Kim Jong-yong and former Suwon Gyeonggi Citizens' Coalition representative Kim Jae-gi as co-representatives.

Co-representative Kim Jae-gi stated, "The National Sovereignty National Assembly will not be biased toward any particular political faction or ideology, but will solely follow the will of the people and present a path for the future of the Republic of Korea," and requested, "We ask for the active participation and support of citizens in the Gyeonggi region."
