A city official stated, "A total of eight cruise ships are scheduled to dock at Yeosu Port this year, which is the highest number since the lifting of the cruise ship entry ban due to COVID-19," and added, "We will do our best to attract more international tourists and revitalize cruise tourism in line with this trend."
Meanwhile, Yeosu City recorded five cruise ship arrivals in 2023 and four in 2024. In the first half of this year, two additional arrivals of the Japanese MOL company's 'Mitsui Ocean Fuji' are scheduled, with expected arrival dates on April 13 and May 9.
