Myung submitted a written statement expressing 'no objection' to the committee's decision, and his name, age, and face were immediately disclosed. The personal information will be posted on the Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency's website until the 11th of next month.
According to the Act on the Disclosure of Personal Information of Suspects of Certain Serious Crimes, a five-day grace period must be observed after the committee's decision to disclose personal information. However, if the suspect expresses 'no objection' in writing regarding the disclosure decision, the information can be disclosed immediately.
