Admission Strategies Revealed for High School Seniors and Parents
Jo Incheol, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Gwangju Seogu-gap), announced on the 11th that the first "Gwangju College Admission Parent Academy" of the year will be held on the 15th at the Gwangju Education Research Information Center in collaboration with EBS.
This seminar has been organized to provide accurate college admission information to high school seniors and their parents amid the changing college entrance environment, alleviating anxiety about admissions and helping students independently plan their academic and career paths.
The academy will cover topics such as: ▲ Study methods utilizing EBS ▲ Analysis of 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and admission trends ▲ Strategies for 2026 college admissions ▲ Subject-specific study methods and admission strategies. Notably, EBS instructor Jeong Jewon (Soongui Girls' High School) and mathematics instructor Shim Juseok (Incheon Haneul High School) will participate to give lectures on college application strategies and mathematics study methods.
Jo stated, "High school seniors and parents preparing for college admissions must prepare strategically based on accurate information, but in reality, opportunities differ depending on region and access to information," adding, "We have organized additional learning strategy seminars to help bridge the educational gap at the national level."
Jo further emphasized, "I will continue to take the lead in creating a fair educational environment so that the information gap does not lead to an educational gap," and added, "I hope that many students and parents will receive practical help through this seminar."
