Yangju City, Uijeongbu City, and Jeju City Mutual Donations under Hometown Love Donation Program
Strengthening Intergovernmental Cooperation for Mutual Growth
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 7th that it has conducted mutual donations with Uijeongbu City and Jeju City to promote mutual development between regions and activate the Hometown Love Donation Program.
The mutual donation held on the 6th was reportedly prepared by 40 employees of Yangju City who united their intentions to support cooperation and mutual growth among local governments.
On that day, Yangju City, Uijeongbu City, and Jeju City each donated 2 million KRW to the Hometown Love Donation Program, sharing their commitment to revitalizing the local economy and expanding sustainable exchanges.
This is regarded as a meaningful step that goes beyond a simple donation culture to practice the values of solidarity and coexistence among local governments.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “I deeply thank the employees of Yangju City, Uijeongbu City, and Jeju City who voluntarily joined their intentions to activate the Hometown Love Donation Program,” adding, “We will continue close exchanges and cooperation so that the three local governments can cooperate and grow together.”
