Gyeongnam National University Selected for Ministry of Employment and Labor Youth Employment Service Project
New Institution Selected for Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students
and Specialized Programs for Graduates
Gyeongnam National University’s University Job Plus Center (Hub Type), which provides a wide range of career and employment/startup services to young people in the Changwon area, has been selected as a new executing institution for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students’ and ‘Specialized Programs for Graduates.’
The Ministry of Employment and Labor’s 2025 Youth Employment Service project, ‘Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students,’ supports tailored employment services early on for enrolled students to promote smooth entry into the labor market for youth. It operates various projects suitable for each academic year, including career exploration and planning for lower-grade students, and vocational training and work-experience linkage for upper-grade students to enhance employment capabilities.
The ‘Specialized Programs for Graduates’ identify unemployed graduates early and provide various employment training opportunities such as one-on-one counseling, senior mentoring, and document and interview consulting to help them transition to employment after graduation.
With this selection, Gyeongnam National University will operate an extensive range of projects for local youth with a total budget of 1.55 billion KRW, combining the existing 700 million KRW ‘University Job Plus Center (Hub Type) Project’ with the ‘Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students (744 million KRW)’ and the ‘Specialized Programs for Graduates (112 million KRW).’
