Sangmyung University Selected for Neulbom School Operation Project for Third Consecutive Year
Operated at Around 50 Locations Including Geumsan with a Budget of 700 Million Won
Sangmyung University announced on the 4th that its Early Learning Research Institute for Elementary, Middle, and High Schools has been selected for the Nulbom School Operation Project in partnership with universities for the third consecutive year.
This project, supported by the Ministry of Education and Chungnam Province, is a program designed to provide students with continuous learning opportunities through systematic after-school classes.
This year, Sangmyung University will receive a project budget of 700 million won and plans to operate the program at approximately 50 elementary schools in Geumsan, Cheongyang, Hongseong, Dangjin, and Seocheon.
In particular, this year a new program incorporating AI coding and English education will be introduced, aiming to enhance students' creative problem-solving abilities and English proficiency at the same time.
Yoo Jaepil, head of the research institute, said, "The Nulbom School Project plays an important role in narrowing regional educational gaps and improving the quality of public education," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide effective educational programs to students, especially in areas with insufficient educational infrastructure."
