First Achievers of 200,000 Steps per Month Receive Inje Love Gift Certificate
Inje-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Choi Sang-gi) announced on the 4th that the Inje-gun Public Health Center will operate a walking challenge with a goal of 200,000 steps over one month.
The walking challenge aims to promote residents' health and spread walking culture, and will be conducted from this month until April using the smartphone application ‘WalkOn’.

View original imageThis challenge is open to any Inje residents aged 7 or older or holders of the Inje Chaewoe Dream Card. Those wishing to participate can install the ‘WalkOn’ app on their phones, join the Inje-gun community within the app, and then join the challenge.
Inje-gun will provide a 5,000 KRW worth Inje Love Gift Certificate to the first 500 participants who achieve 200,000 steps per month. For Inje Chaewoe Dream Card holders, the amount will be automatically credited to their card.
However, only up to 10,000 steps per day will be recognized, and since this is a challenge limited to the Inje area, participants must enable the phone’s location setting when applying.

An official from Inje-gun stated, “Walking is an essential exercise that plays an important role in maintaining health. Besides this challenge, we will do our best to promote walking and improve residents’ health through various projects.”
