Uijeongbu City Holds the 106th March 1st Movement Anniversary Ceremony
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) held the '106th Anniversary of the March 1st Movement Commemoration Ceremony' on the 1st at the Bethel Hall Seminar Room of Shinhan University.

View original imageAbout 250 people attended the ceremony, including members of the Liberation Association, heads of veterans' organizations and security organizations, local members of the National Assembly, and city and provincial councilors.
The ceremony proceeded in the order of awarding exemplary national merit recipients, reading the Declaration of Independence, commemorative speeches, commemorative performances, singing the March 1st Movement song and the Independence Army song, and three cheers of "Manse." Additionally, as a side event, photos related to the anti-Japanese independence movement were exhibited to reflect on the noble spirit of the patriotic martyrs who devoted themselves to Korea's independent sovereignty.
