Inspects Safety Measures and Fire Preparedness to Prevent Industrial Accidents
Busan Gijang-gun will conduct a 'Safety and Health Management Status Inspection' targeting 13 large-scale construction sites commissioned by the county until March 13 to prevent major industrial accidents.
The main inspection items include ▲ preparation of safety and health registers at each construction stage ▲ appointment of safety and health coordinators ▲ selection of qualified contractors ▲ prohibition of shortening construction periods and changing construction methods ▲ design changes ▲ and calculation of industrial safety and health management costs.
As part of this inspection, on the 26th, County Governor Jeong Jong-bok visited the Ilgwang Education Happiness Town construction site located in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, to check the obligations of the construction project owner and the fire preparedness status at the construction site.

View original imageAt the site, Governor Jeong inspected the progress of interior finishing works such as fireproof coating on steel frames and installation of insulation materials, and thoroughly checked safety accident prevention measures including the placement of fire extinguishers and fire watchers, safety railings on work platforms, installation of fall protection nets, and workers wearing safety helmets and harnesses.
