Damyang County Recruiting Trainees for Agricultural Drone Certification Program
Apply at the Agricultural Technology Center by the 28th of next month

Damyang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 26th that it is recruiting trainees for obtaining agricultural drone licenses. Participants will receive training to acquire both Type 3 and Type 1 drone licenses, and the training fee will be reimbursed after completion.
This training program has been prepared in cooperation with Jeonnam Provincial University to reduce the financial burden on farmers and to foster agricultural drone experts. Jeonnam Provincial University offers a course for obtaining the Type 3 drone license, charging a fee of 300,000 KRW, which will be refunded upon completion of the course.
Those wishing to obtain the Type 1 license must receive training at a separate specialized institution at their own expense. Upon obtaining the license, they will receive a subsidy of 700,000 KRW deposited into their account by the Agricultural Technology Center.
Farmers wishing to participate should submit the training application form and documents proving their status as Damyang County farmers to the Human Resources Development Team of the Rural Support Division at the Agricultural Technology Center by the 28th of next month.
A county official stated, "We expect this project to enhance understanding of agricultural drone technology, improve agricultural productivity, and create jobs in related fields," adding, "We hope for much interest and participation in the training."
