Senko Reports Operating Profit of 2.7 Billion Won Last Year, Up 21% Year-on-Year
Senko announced in its preliminary earnings report that it recorded consolidated annual sales of 35.9 billion KRW, operating profit of 2.7 billion KRW, and net profit of 2.5 billion KRW for 2024, according to a disclosure on the 25th.
Last year's annual sales increased by 6% compared to the previous year. Operating profit rose by 21%, and net profit successfully turned positive. Senko stated, "Although some amortization expenses remain, net profit excluding amortization expenses has significantly increased," adding, "We expect net profit to be further maximized as the burden of amortization expenses decreases going forward."
Recently, Senko has been focusing on supplying gas detectors for semiconductors to expand its market share in China. Senko has already obtained CPA certification, which is China's explosion-proof and performance certification. In June last year, evaluation samples were installed at production facilities of major Chinese semiconductor companies such as Huawei, SMIC, YMTC, and Rongxin Semiconductor, and performance evaluations are currently underway.
Senko has been registered as the official gas detector supplier for BOE, the largest display manufacturer in China. Starting in 2025, Senko plans to begin supplying fixed gas detectors through its Chinese partner GXC.
Currently, Senko is conducting performance evaluations (PoC) for large-scale supply in cooperation with major Chinese semiconductor companies. Once the performance evaluation is completed, full-scale mass production supply and sales expansion are expected.
