In the second half of last year, the most popular K-pop songs overseas were BTS member Jimin's solo second album title track "Who" and BLACKPINK Ros?'s "APT." according to a survey.
The world's largest music streaming platform Spotify announced on the 25th its "Global Impact List," which selected thirty Korean songs that were heavily streamed overseas from July to December last year. "Who" and "APT." ranked first and second respectively. BLACKPINK Jennie's "Mantra" was third, Stray Kids' "Chk Chk Boom" was fourth, and Jimin's "Be Mine" ranked fifth.
The artists who appeared most frequently on the list were BTS members. Including Jimin's "Who" and "Be Mine," Jin's "Running Wild" (6th), "I'll Be There" (8th), and "Super Tuna" (23rd), and V's "Winter Ahead" (9th) and "White Christmas" (26th), a total of ten songs were included.
Ros? also placed three songs on the list besides "APT.": "number one girl" (13th) and "toxic till the end" (15th). Stray Kids entered four songs, including "Chk Chk Boom," "I Like It" (20th), "Come Play" (21st), and "JJAM" (29th). aespa, Kiss of Life, and ENHYPEN each had two songs on the list.

Baby Monster, who officially debuted last year, joined the list with "FOREVER" (11th) and "DRIP" (17th), and rookie Miyao appeared with "MEOW" (30th). Park Jeongju, head of Spotify Korea's music team, said, "Along with global stars including BTS, we were able to confirm the outstanding achievements of rookie groups such as Baby Monster and Miyao."
