Gwangju Science Center Hosts 'Birthday Parties for Future Scientists'
Starting in March at the Children's Science Museum Curiosity Playground
Birthday Program Includes Science Activities and Exhibition Tours
The National Gwangju Science Museum will introduce a new program called '2025 Science Museum Birthday Party ? Birthday Party for Future Scientists' at the Children's Science Museum Curiosity Playground starting in March.
According to the Gwangju Science Museum on the 25th, this program is a new science culture event for elementary school students, designed so that children celebrating their birthdays can enjoy a special birthday party at the museum and experience a variety of science content.
The event includes birthday celebrations, group photo sessions, educational programs led by professional instructors, guided tours of the permanent exhibition hall, and free viewing of special exhibitions. The venue has also been changed from the existing book cafe to the Curiosity Playground at the Children's Science Museum, providing a larger and more creative space.
Participants can freely use the Curiosity Playground on the day of the event. In addition, a 'Triple Pass' including a birthday cake and admission to the permanent exhibition hall will be provided. Guardians may use the waiting area or participate in the program together.
Lee Jaeyoung, a researcher at the Science Culture Department, said, "We changed the birthday party venue to provide a better environment for children to nurture their scientific imagination," and added, "We will do our best to help participants create special memories at the science museum."
