Buk-gu Gwangju Selected for Lifelong Learning City Project for the Disabled for Four Consecutive Years
Buk-gu, Gwangju has been selected for the fourth consecutive year for the 2025 Lifelong Learning City for People with Disabilities project, hosted by the National Institute of Special Education under the Ministry of Education.
According to Buk-gu on the 24th, this project was established to reduce the educational gap for people with disabilities and to provide customized educational opportunities.
The district was selected under the theme of "Operation of Specialized Lifelong Education Programs for People with Disabilities Linked to Community Resources," securing 50 million KRW in national funding and will operate a total of 17 customized programs with a total budget of 100 million KRW.
