Hyundai Motor to Appoint Vice President Jin Eun-sook as First Female Inside Director at Next Month's General Meeting

Vice President Jin previously served as the General Director at NHN and joined Hyundai Motor as head of the ICT division in 2021. She has been responsible for ICT since May of last year. At this shareholders' meeting, Hyundai Motor also plans to reappoint Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, as an inside director. Vice Chairman Jang Jae-hoon, who oversees the group, will step down from his position as an inside director. Among the seven outside directors, three will be replaced. Hyundai Motor plans to newly appoint three outside directors: Kim Soo-i, former Global Private Equity Head at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB); Do Jin-myung, former Vice President of Qualcomm Asia; and Benjamin Tan, former Asia Portfolio Manager at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). Additionally, Hyundai Motor plans to add "hydrogen business and other related businesses" to its business objectives.
