According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, both western and eastern high-pressure systems will persist, causing dry and cold northwesterly winds to continue blowing. As a result, less than 0.1 cm of snow may fall in some areas of the Jeonnam west coast between the early morning and morning hours of the 21st.
The morning's lowest temperatures are expected to be -6 degrees Celsius in Damyang and Gokseong, -5 degrees in Jangseong, Naju, Hwasun, and Gurye, -4 degrees in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Yeongam, Jangheung, Boseong, Suncheon, and Gwangyang, -3 degrees in Hampyeong, Muan, Gangjin, and Goheung, -2 degrees in Haenam, and -1 degree in Shinan, Mokpo, Jindo, and Wando.
The highest daytime temperatures will be 6 degrees in Gwangyang and Goheung, 5 degrees in Suncheon and Jangheung, 4 degrees in Gwangju, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hampyeong, Naju, Hwasun, Yeongam, Haenam, Gangjin, Wando, and Yeosu, 3 degrees in Jangseong, Shinan, Muan, Mokpo, Jindo, and Boseong, and 2 degrees in Yeonggwang, remaining similar to the previous day.
Waves on the West Sea will range from 1 to 2.5 meters, while waves on the South Sea will be between 0.5 and 1.5 meters. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to remain 'good'.
An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "We advise the elderly and children with weaker immune systems to refrain from outdoor activities as much as possible and to take extra care of their health due to sudden temperature changes and low temperatures."
