Gyeongsan-si Wins 2025 K-Brand Awards 'K-City Citizen-Centered City Category'
Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk was selected in the K-City Citizen-Centered City category at the 2025 K-Brand Awards held on the 19th.
The K-City Citizen-Centered City category is an award given to local governments that have led regional innovation and established a foundation for sustainable growth through bold policy implementation despite the crisis of regional extinction and population cliff.
Gyeongsan City has laid the groundwork for regional development by establishing an ICT startup base, creating Imdang Unicorn Park, operating the software development talent training program ‘42 Gyeongsan Innovation Academy,’ opening a youth knowledge playground, extending and opening the Hayang Line of Urban Railway Line 1, and opening the Daegyeong Line metropolitan railway (Gyeongsan?Gumi), thereby paving the way for innovative urban growth.
