Mercury Signs Business Agreement with KIND to Promote Overseas Investment Development Projects

View original imageThe Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 20th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) to promote overseas investment development projects and support the transition to carbon neutrality.
The MOU, signed the previous day, was established to further strengthen cooperative synergy by adding support for pioneering overseas markets in the emerging zero-carbon energy sector and assistance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies expanding abroad.
The main contents of the agreement include sharing information and joint support for zero-carbon energy projects, preferential financial arrangement and advisory fees for joint support, and priority support for SMEs and mid-sized companies in overseas investment development projects.
Through this MOU, the Export-Import Bank of Korea emphasized that by linking its business development and financial support capabilities with KIND’s business consulting and investment support expertise, it will contribute to discovering new overseas business opportunities for Korean companies and enhancing their global competitiveness.

Yoon Hee-sung, President of the Export-Import Bank of Korea, stated, "With this agreement, the two institutions will join forces to contribute to the expansion of our companies’ overseas businesses and the advancement of overseas orders, serving as a stepping stone toward achieving global carbon neutrality by 2050.
