Cheonan to Provide Subsidies for 750 Electric Vehicles... Up to 12.8 Million Won for Passenger Cars
Applications for passenger cars start on the 20th,
for cargo trucks from the 11th of next month
Cheonan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 19th that it will provide purchase subsidies for 750 electric vehicles in the first half of this year.
For passenger cars, up to 500 vehicles can receive a subsidy of up to 12.8 million KRW per vehicle, and for cargo trucks, up to 250 vehicles can receive up to 19.5 million KRW each.
Applications for passenger cars will be accepted starting from the 20th of this month, and for cargo trucks from the 11th of next month. However, the program will close early if the budget is exhausted.
Eligible applicants are individuals, corporations, and organizations that have been registered residents of the city for at least 90 days as of the application date.
