View original imageThis exercise class consists of △a walking challenge using the non-face-to-face WalkOn app △aquatic exercise (Yeongdeok) △fall prevention exercise (Yeongdeok, Yeonghae, Ganggu) △early morning exercise (Yeongdeok, Yeonghae, Ganggu) to provide customized exercise tailored to individual physical characteristics.
First, the walking challenge will start on the 24th, with monthly walking challenges held and various incentives provided to successful participants. The aquatic exercise class helps seniors aged 60 and over with underlying conditions such as obesity and arthritis to recover their health.
The fall prevention exercise class targets seniors aged 65 and over, focusing on exercises that enhance flexibility and muscle strength, while the early morning exercise class is held for residents who find it difficult to participate in daytime programs.
Yeongdeok-gun Public Health Center will officially start these exercise classes from March, and those who wish to participate can apply by phone to the health center’s fitness room.
