Gyeonggawon Supports Global Startup Commercialization... 20 Companies Receive 750 Million Won
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting participating companies for the ‘Global Startup Commercialization Support Project’ until the 18th of next month to help startups located in Pangyo Techno Valley 1 and 2 expand globally.
This project is designed to discover startups residing in Pangyo Techno Valley that possess high potential for overseas expansion through their technology, products, or services, and to support the strengthening of their global competitiveness.
This year, the agency will provide a total of 750 million KRW in commercialization funds to 20 companies.

View original imageEligible applicants are companies established within 7 years that hold innovative technologies in Information Technology (IT), Biotechnology (BT), Cultural Content Technology (CT), Nanotechnology (NT), and companies established within 10 years in the fields of Mobility, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Semiconductors, and Big Data.
Selected companies can receive commercialization support funds ranging from 30 million KRW to a maximum of 50 million KRW per company, with the amount varying based on evaluation results. Additionally, 20% of the support fund must be covered by the company as a self-contribution.

Lee Jun-woo, Head of the Techno Valley Innovation Headquarters at the agency, stated, "This program was established to assist startups in Pangyo Techno Valley 1 and 2 who face difficulties entering overseas markets due to uncertain economic conditions and the global economic downturn." He added, "We hope for active interest and participation from companies wishing to pioneer overseas markets."
