Cash Payments Require an In-Person Visit
KB Kookmin Bank has decided to refund the fees paid by consumers due to a computer system failure that occurred the previous day.
On the 18th, KB Kookmin Bank announced on its website, "We will refund fees to customers who transferred funds to other financial institutions through branch counters or automated machines due to the error that occurred on the 17th."
The refund applies to individual and sole proprietor customers, excluding corporations, who made transfers to other financial institutions via KB Kookmin Bank branches or automated machines between 9:40 AM and 11:30 AM on the 17th.
Although automatic refunds were made the previous day to accounts from which fees had already been deducted, financial consumers who paid fees in cash must visit their transaction branch in person to confirm the refund account.
