Yuanta Securities Opens 'NYSE Real-Time 20-Quote Service'
Yuanta Securities will launch the 'US Stock Real-Time 20-Level Order Book Service' from the 18th to enhance the convenience of investing in US stocks.
This service is provided through the acquisition of the 'NYSE Pillar Depth' license, which is based on integrated quote data from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and its affiliated exchanges (NYSE Arca, NYSE American, NYSE National, NYSE Chicago), rather than quote information from a single exchange.
On the 12th (local time), the Yuanta Securities logo commemorating the introduction of the US stock 20-level order service 'Pillar Depth' was displayed on the electronic board at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) trading floor. Photo by Yuanta Securities
View original imagePreviously, US stock investors could only check the best bid and ask prices (one level each), making it difficult to accurately grasp the order book information of the stocks they intended to trade. Now, like domestic stocks, investors can check 20 levels of quotes (10 bid and 10 ask levels) along with the remaining quantities, enabling more rational investment decisions based on broader information.
In particular, Pillar Depth integrates quote data from multiple exchanges, allowing investors to view more precise order book information compared to single-exchange data, enabling trading US stocks under relatively advantageous conditions.
Along with the 20-level order book service, the 'US Stock Real-Time Investment Information Content' will also be introduced. Timely investment information content, including local US news, major market issues, real-time translations of US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosures, earnings and dividend information, and video analysis materials, can be accessed through 'NEW T-READER M.'
To commemorate the service launch, an event offering preferential online trading fees for US stocks for one year will be held until April 30 for new and dormant US stock customers. This applies to customers who have had no US stock trading experience since August last year.
From the day after applying for the event, the first six months will provide free benefits including trading commissions and the US securities transaction tax SEC Fee (0.00278%, minimum amount $0.01) incurred upon selling, and for the following six months, a preferential commission rate of 0.02% will be applied.
Shin Nam-seok, Head of the Retail Business Division, said, "Following the US Stock Real-Time 20-Level Order Book Service, we will continuously strengthen various services to improve customers' investment returns, such as the future introduction of a 'US Stock Margin System by Stock,' to enhance investment accessibility and convenience."
The US Stock 20-Level Order Book Service is available free of charge to all customers trading US stocks through Yuanta Securities, and real-time quote and price information can be checked via T-READER (HTS) and NEW T-READER M (MTS).
