Schools wishing to participate in educational programs can register through online reservations and consultations. Schools in Busan eligible for the Education Welfare Priority Support Project and schools in population-declining areas of Gyeongnam can receive group bus fare support through the National Busan Science Museum’s sponsorship projects, ‘Happy Bus (BUS) Day with BNK Busan Bank’ and ‘BNK Exciting Bus Project with BNK Gyeongnam Bank’.
Camp education is a 1-night, 2-day residential program utilizing the observatory equipped with top-class astronomical observation facilities nationwide, including a 350mm aperture refracting telescope. It is operated at the Science Education Camp Center for school groups on weekdays and families on weekends.
In particular, the Family Science Camp is a popular program with fierce reservation competition and high satisfaction. The reservation window opens on the second Thursday of every month, offering seasonal constellation explanations and observation experiences.
Additionally, the National Busan Science Museum operates a wide range of educational programs such as ‘Science Atelier’, a workshop-style experience education for adults, ‘Parent Science Salon’ for parents, and ‘Senior Smart School’ for the elderly. It also conducts science sharing education for underserved areas and vulnerable groups, expanding opportunities for science education.
